About This Part

Sachs — part of the ZF Friedrichshafen group — is the OEM supplier for clutch systems in the majority of BMW and MINI vehicles. The Sachs performance clutch kit for the F56 delivers increased clamping force over the standard clutch, improving feel and durability under hard use while remaining perfectly driveable in city traffic.

The F56's B38 and B48 engines use a dual mass flywheel (DMF), which absorbs drivetrain vibration and improves gear change smoothness. The DMF is a wear item and should be inspected — and typically replaced — when doing a clutch job. Our kit includes both the clutch assembly and a new or fully serviceable DMF.
