2014–2024 · Pressure Tested · Lebanon
The MINI F56 Cooper S uses a two-cooler front-end pack: the main engine coolant radiator and a separate charge air cooler (intercooler) that cools the compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine. Cooler charge air is denser, which improves power and reduces the risk of detonation under load.
Radiator failure on the F56 is typically caused by impact damage, stone chips to the fins, or plastic tank cracking from age and thermal cycling. Intercooler damage is less common but can result from the same stone impact or a boost pipe failure that causes pressure surge. All units in our stock are pressure tested before dispatch.
