The John Cooper Works steering wheel for the F56 is the most desirable steering wheel upgrade available from MINI — featuring a sport-diameter rim wrapped in perforated leather for enhanced grip feel, a flat bottom section for driver clearance, and integrated aluminium paddle shifters for automatic transmission models.

The JCW wheel is a popular retrofit for owners of standard Cooper and Cooper S models. It uses the same airbag connector, horn ring, and column spline as all F56 steering wheels, making it a direct plug-on swap. Note that paddle shifters are only functional with automatic transmission models — they are present on the wheel but inactive on manual cars.
