About This Part
The MINI F60 uses the NBT EVO (Next Big Thing Evolution) infotainment system with an 8.8-inch touchscreen — one of the most capable head units in the segment at its launch. The system supports Apple CarPlay natively from the 2019 model year onwards, with earlier units upgradeable via coding.
The NBT EVO platform supports over-the-air map updates, real-time traffic, MINI Connected services, and wireless smartphone mirroring on later production variants. The iDrive rotary controller and touchscreen can both control the system simultaneously.
Each unit is coded to match F60 chassis specifications before dispatch, Apple CarPlay pairing is tested, navigation function is confirmed with map data loaded, and the touchscreen responsiveness is verified. Units are confirmed free of BMW ConnectedDrive encryption lock issues.
