About This Part

The MINI multi-function steering wheel adds audio controls, Bluetooth phone controls, and cruise control activation buttons directly on the wheel spokes — eliminating the need to reach for the centre console or iDrive controls while driving. On R56 models the controls integrate with the radio/navigation head unit via a direct CAN bus connection.

On F56 and F60 models, a variant with fixed paddle shifters is available — the paddles are part of the wheel and rotate with it (not column-fixed). These work in Sport mode and with the 6-speed automatic transmission to allow manual gear selection without moving to the gear selector.

Each multi-function wheel is tested by connecting to a compatible MINI and verifying all button functions — volume up/down, track change, phone answer/end, and cruise control set/resume. Wheels with non-functioning buttons are not offered for sale.
